The client’s marketing campaign required a photo-realistic solution to their launch of a selection of pickle and relish products based on varying strength chilli peppers.
The advantage over traditional photography was three fold:
- The client knew the labelling would probably change by the time the artwork went to print; a swap of new labelling artwork for the 3d model and a re-render would prove far more cost effective than organising another photo shoot.
- With the client’s budget in mind, the proposed kitchen scenario could only be possible in a 3d environment, eliminating costly and time consuming set building with specialised lighting.
- With the introduction of new recipe products in the future, using the same process as the labelling for the jar contents would present a brand new product shot at minimal cost and in exactly the same environment and lighting setup.
